State Cheer Competition in Grand Island

The 2017 state cheer competition will be held in Grand Island on February 18th at the Heartland Event Center. It will start around 2 p.m. with Alma performing at roughly 2 and 4.   Awards will begin around 5:30.  Come out and support the cheerleaders. Article by Charles McConnell

Junior High Snatches 4th in a Tight Race in Holdrege Quiz Bowl

The Junior High Quiz Bowl team traveled to Holdrege on Thursday, February 9th. They had a 3-2 record and lost to Cambridge, who was ranked #1, and Southern Valley, who was ranked #2. The AHS Junior High team snatched up 4th place, and Wilcox Hildreth grabbed 3rd. Congrats to the Junior High Quiz Bowlers!
