Girls Travel to Arapahoe

In the Jr Varsity game, no points were scored during the first and second quarter. In the third quarter, the lead scorer was Abby Cervera with 7 points. She was followed by Shiann Spady with 2 points.  Finishing the third quarter with 9 points.  In the fourth quarter, the lead scorer was Shiann Spady with 2 points. She was followed by Abby Cervera with 1 point.Unable to overcome the first half deficit, Ama lost to Arapahoe JV 12-17.  Alma continued action with the Arapahoe varsity.

In the first quarter, the lead scorer was Tiffany Wells and Maddie Brugh with 5 points each. They were closely followed by Abby Cervera with 2 points. The balanced scoring leads the team to take the lead 12-15.

In the second quarter, the lead scorer with 4 points was Abby Cervera. She was closely followed by Maddie Brugh with 3 points. Maddie was followed by Tiffany Wells and Emma Smolik both with 2 points. Alma and Arapahoe each had 11 points in the second quarter.  This ended the half with a score of 23 – 28.

The third quarter was an interesting one. There were three lead scorers Shiann Spady, Abby Cervera, and Tiffany Wells who all scored 4 points. They were closely followed by Maddie Brugh with 3 points and Kayla Kinder with 2 points. Alma was able to add a little to their lead outscoring the Warriors 12-10.  This ended the third quarter of play 40-33.

In the fourth and final quarter, Tiffany Wells scored 5 points and was followed by Maddie Brugh and Kayla Kinder both with 2 points. They were followed by Shiann Spady and Abby Cervera with 1 point each. Alma extended their lead in the fourth and final quarter and won the game 51-41.
