Alma Boys Rough Up the Riders in RPAC Quarterfinals

On Wednesday, January 25th, the Alma Boys Basketball team traveled to Curtis, Nebraska, for the RPAC quarterfinals. The boys ended the 1st quarter with a close score of 8-12. After a hard-fought 2nd quarter, the team went into the locker room with a score of 18-23. In the third quarter, the Cardinals trailed by only one point with a score of 32-33. Finally, in the 4th quarter, the boys closed the gap and then some, ending the game with a heart-pounding score of 51-49. Sophomore Jackson Mckenzie lead in points with 17, followed by Eric Kovarik with 14. The boys are headed to the RPAC semifinals on Friday, January 27th, at 7:45 against the Bertrand Vikings.
