Alma Sweeps The Streets

Alma community clean-up this year was a huge success.  Students along with adults from the community pick items from the curb left by residents.  These items are hauled to the dump in Holdrege free of charge.  The town of Alma applauds their efforts and greatly appreciates this service.  The volunteers had a good time and enjoyed working together to accomplish something for the greater good of the community.  The students who helped out this year know how important it is to give back to the community with good service projects and volunteering.  They showed their hard work and dedication to the town of Alma this past weekend. They will continue their service into the future.  Also, thank you to the Rotary Club for providing a meal to the workers on clean-up day.
