Easter Break Dismissals

Alma Public School will have a 2:00 dismissal on Thursday, April 12th. There will be no school on Friday, April 14th or Monday, April 17th. Have a good break!  

Autism Awareness Day

Alma Brings Home 6 Medals from CCC Action Days

On Wednesday 15, CCC Action Days was held in Hastings, Nebraska. Senior, Shelby Butts, placed second in anatomy. Alma 6th Graders Win Invention Convention

Sixth graders Linden Biskup, Delaney Seyler, Kathryn Prickett competed in the Invention Convention contest at Pioneer Village in Minden, Nebraska.  The project consisted of twidgets.  A twidget is pocket sizes fidgets for school.   An example of this was a pen that does make a sound when it clicks.  A disk that has a rough side and […]

Save a Life at APS

On Tuesday, March 7, the Seniors will be holding a blood drive at Alma Public Schools in the main gym. The blood drive will start at 10:30 and will be done at 4:30. Walk-ins are welcome, but they prefer for people to call and make appointments.  Come in and save a life!

Elementary Quiz Bowl Wins Home Meet

The Alma Red Team brought home gold on Wednesday at the Alma Meet.   Loomis and Franklin tied for 2nd but the tie was broken by head to head competition.   Therefore, Loomis placed 2nd and Franklin got 3rd. Article by Charles McConnell
