Junior High Football Gets Big Win Over Loomis

The Alma Junior High fought hard Monday, October 16th. The Cardinals came out victorious beating the Loomis Wolves 44-20. Ayden Molzahn started the game for the Cardinals scoring on an 18-yard run with Ryan Kermmoade completing the two-point conversion. Loomis responded back with a 39-yard touchdown pass and a failed two-point conversion. Leaving the score in the first quarter to be 8-6 in the cardinals favor. Alma took charge in the second quarter leaving the Wolves scoreless while scoring three touchdowns and a safety to head into the half leaving the score to be 32-6. Coming out of the half Ayden Molzahn ran the ball for a 20-yard run and a Cardinal touchdown. The score at the end of the quarter being 38-6. Wyatt Hammond scored the last touchdown of the game for the Cardinals on a 20-yard run. Loomis responded with two more touchdowns but just couldn’t compete with the mighty cardinals of Alma High! Ayden Molzahn ran for a total of 138 yards while Ryan Kermmoade ran for 33. Ryan Brugh passed for a total of 33 yards.
