Kindergarten Operas

The kindergarten classes recently finished learning about the musical art form of an opera. We recreated our own operas telling the story of the 3 Little Pigs with only singing, no talking, just like a real opera.

Peter & the Wolf

The kindergarteners have just finished a unit on the musical story, Peter and the Wolf. In this story, each character is represented by an instrument to help tell the story. Watch their pictures of their favorite character and instrument below!

Peter and the Wolf

The kindergarteners are learning that music can really enhance a story. The fairy tale of Peter and the Wolf uses different instruments to represent each character. Here is their favorite character/instrument set to music of Peter and the Wolf by Russian composer Sergei Prokofiev.
