Softball Saints Fight for a Win Against Blue Hill for their Last Home Game

SVA Varsity Saints took the lead late in the game in a 6-2 victory over Blue Hill on Tuesday. Blue Hill scored one run when Maddy Kort doubled. SVA Varsity Saints knotted the game up at two in the bottom of the third inning. PJ Dubbs singled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run. Kynlee Marquez took the win for SVA Varsity Saints. She lasted six and two-thirds innings, allowing four hits and two runs while striking out 13.Abby Cervera threw one-third of an inning in relief out of the bullpen. Cervera recorded the last out to earn the save for SVA Varsity Saints. Kyra Meyer took the loss for Blue Hill. She went six innings, allowing six runs on seven hits and striking out five. SVA Varsity Saints saw the ball well today, racking up seven hits in the game.
