The sophomores expand their education at the Sophomore Field Day

The Alma sophomore class went to a science field day in Holdrege at the fairgrounds. The kids split into different groups and went and learned things about animals, physical therapy, and electricity that they didn’t know. Owen Jackson says “ They let us put our arms in a cow and feel the inside of the stomach.” He also said, “the inside felt warm and slimy and when the cow took a breath the stomach contracted.” Haylee Wing said, “We got to make wind turbines out of paper and they learned about physical therapy and also got electrocuted.” The sophomore class had fun at the science field day and thank Mrs. Kermmoade for the experience.
