Halloween is fast approaching and to get in the spirit, the 6th graders spent the week looking at Michael Jackson’s famous “Thriller.” We learned about new rhythms, special sound effects, and even got our groove on. Enjoy the clip below!

The 6th grade class has spent the week studying jazz composer Duke Ellington. To finish up our unit, we did a little flashlight painting to his famous composition “Take the A Train.” Enjoy a little sneak peek below.

6th Grade Ukuleles

The 6th graders are loving Thursdays, now called “Ukulele Day!” They have learned a handful of one finger chords and were even able to use them to play along with the Banana Boat Song. We’ll be diving into two finger chords this week. Enjoy their video below!
