Student Council Attends Leadership Workshop

On September 28th, the Student Council travelled to McCook Community College for their annual workshop. The students learned valuable leadership skills and got to meet peers from other schools in the RPAC. Each student was divided into a tribes with one other student from each school and they attended different sessions on leadership. In one of the sessions, each of the students got to paired up with another and asked questions to get to know more about each other. In another session, the students took part in a class called “Trash Your Values” where they looked at what was most important to them in their lives. The last session was called “Habitudes” where students examined the characteristics of a leader. Overall, the Student Council members took away important life lessons that will stick with them throughout the school year and beyond.
