The Alma Wrestling Team Placed 2nd at RPAC

The Alma Wrestlers traveled to Maxwell for the RPAC tournament Friday and returned with the team placing 2nd and four medal winners! James Dubbs and Andrew Graf both wrestled well but where unable to get any wins. Michael Edgar got one win, Zach Halbert had two pins, Jonah Felix got two pins, CJ Graf had two pins, Matteo Canals had two pins and broke his own fastest pin record at the 106 lb weight class with a :16 second pin! 

Joseph Felix went 4-1 on the day with 4 pins and earning 2nd place. He was able to take the career pins record away from Lucas Cox with 82 pins and counting! He also leads the team with 88 takedowns and 244 match points! 

Ayden Molzahn placed 1st,  went 5-0 and had 3 pins. Ayden earned the new Most wins by a Freshman, taking it away from Joseph Felix/Charlie Robison who both had 23, Ayden set the new record at 26 and he has many more matched to wrestle! 

Daylan Russell earned 1st winning all 5 matches with pins and has a 32-3 record. Daylan leads the team with 30 pins and is chasing the season pin record which is 32 shared by both Corey Lienemann/Joe Flasnick.

Tyson McCurdy won his second RPAC Championship! Tyson has a season record of 32-5 with 18 pins and leads the team with 44 Escapes (Tyson currently hold the career record for escapes).
