The Alma volleyball team traveled to Superior on September 18, 2021 for a tournament against Superior and Blue Hill.
Alma’s first game was played against Blue Hill. In the first set, they won by 13 with the score being 25-12. In the second set, Alma took the win 25-21. On the offensive side, Carlee Stuhmer led this team with 15 kills and Addison Siebels with 8. On the defensive side, Addison Neal had 12 serve receptions. Alma ended up winning in two sets. Therefore, Blue Hill lost the first game 0-2.
Alma’s second and last game was against Superior. Alma lost the first set 24-26, then came back up in the second winning 25-17. Alma fell behind in the third 16-25. As a result, Superior won in three sets. The score was 2-1.
