In honor of Election Day, Mrs. Christensen’s 1st grade class voted for the best classroom snack today. They first came up with pros and cons to each snack and then voted in their own private voting booth for their favorite. There was a tie between cookies and fruit being the best class snack. We are proud of them for voting so that their voice could be heard! #ProudToBeACardinal

Mrs. Russell took her 5th grade class to the courthouse to vote today. The volunteers helped explain the voting process (the different ballots, districts, etc) and they got to watch as she signed in and received her ballot. She then explained the ballot to them and answered any questions they had. After she voted, they ALL got 'I voted' stickers. What a great experience! #ProudToBeACardinal
