The FFA is at their last day of State FFA today as well. We have multiple students receiving their State Degree, and two students are receiving the State Star Award! During the 4th Quarter, students in Senior Survey are teaching life skills to one another! So far we have learned about changing windshield wiper blades, checking car fluids and tires, writing checks, how to appropriately tip, doing laundry, and how to tie a tie. On Tuesday, Cyrus Jordan was sworn in with the Army National Guard with a six-year contract. His job will be a signal support systems specialist, which requires him to fix anything that helps commanders stay informed and direct ground troop units and more. Congratulations Cyrus! It is going to be a busy one today at APS!! The juniors will be taking their state ACT test at the Johnson Center to start the day off. They must be in the building prior to 7:45 AM. The Golf team will be headed to Elwood for the Hi-Line Invite. The invite will get started at 10 AM. Last, but not least, the Senior/Faculty Game will begin at 7 PM.
